His Surprise Package: A Marriage Mistake Romance by Ashlee Price

This was a quick read, mainly because there was not a lot of depth to it. That’s not to say that it wasn’t a good plot, because it was pretty decent: a marriage mistake that the two people try and work their way through. She has some barriers, he has some baggage. I liked the interaction between the two and especially liked Teri’s growth. There were a couple of moments that seemed a little bit “out of character,” but the reasons for the character motivations helped make more sense of the actions. It was a fun read, and I would recommend it for a quick brain break. It would be four stars if there were a little bit more depth to the characters, but it is a solid 3.5. I received a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
